The Cosy 85
This house is a well-designed and Buildfast have a well sourced combination of both local and imported materials.
The house is a solid, economical, practical home with our aim of the cost being under $100,000 including GST. This includes estimated assembly costs.
The house can be assembled within two weeks by a team of 4 men and with correct coordination with other tradesmen. (Finishing trims and decorations may take a little longer.)
Buildfast plans to mass produce the Cosy 85 and standardise it to get a Multi-Proof permit to cover all of New Zealand.
Buildfast supply the main kitset structure of the house directly.
This kitset is made up of their larger 100mm EPS Expanded Polystyrene for the walls and roof.These are well-made and with steel frames and double 4mm steel panels.They all screw and bolt together and are all painted inside and out.
The roof has an additional long run steel corrugated roof fixed to the EPS panels.The EPS material is ideal as it provides great insulation, is fire retardant and quick to assemble.
No need to plaster and paint!
Included in The Main Kitset is: the overall design, basic plans, instructions, and the main kitset structure which includes steel work, walls, roof, and decorations. Full details provided on request.

These “Cosy 85” packages save costs and make purchasing the materials easier.Buildfast regularly update these and reduce costs where possible.
This includes: windows, ranch slider, doors, hardware, trims, kitchen cupboards, bathroom, plumbing fittings, electrics, wardrobes, stove, smoke & heat alarms etc from $40,000
