Buildfast was established to provide genuine affordable housing, temporary accommodation , transportable buildings,tourist accommodation and a variety of “Tiny Homes”.
All Buildfast buildings are well designed, easy to assemble, solid, exceptionally well insulated, watertight and very soundproof.
The main component is their 75mm and 100mm double skinned, steel framed EPS panels. (Expanded Polystyrene) No need to plaster and paint!
These are plain looking, however they can be transformed into a cottage style wooden look with free pallet wood glued inside and outside. (This is common overseas on quality tiny homes!)
Other panels, like Macrocarpa, can also be used. Standard colours are blue roof and light grey walls. These low maintenance panels are very easy to maintain and clean especially in regard to P.
These Kit-set buildings are complete except for; wiring, plumbing, cabinets and skids. However Buildfast have negotiated great package deals from local suppliers for all of these. These are also expanding these packages to include “off the grid” services.
The windows on the smaller models come with the building when manufactured. These although mostly double glazed have not been through NZ certification process. With the Cosy 85, we have local companies who can provide NZ standard windows at a trade price.
